Hi! Fancy meeting you here.
I'm a writer in New York City with a penchant for overalls, bread, and middle-brow criticism.
I discovered my love for writing when I penned my first memoir in third grade. To my misfortune, it coincided with my pathological lying phase and thus my memoirs from 2003 don't count at all.
I attended Brown University, where I graduated Phi Beta Kappa, Magnum Cum Laude, and received honors in Nonfiction Writing.
Today, I’m the Senior Editor of Emerging Platforms at SELF magazine. Previously, I've worked at FADER, Marie Claire, People, and, most recently, Rolling Stone.
I was also the Managing Editor at my high school paper, The Echo, if you were curious.
As a teenager, I wrote biweekly on my now-defunct humor/culture blog, The Fro-Yo Diaries, which you may or may not have heard of.
Aside from the aforementioned, I love live music, memorizing Kanye West lyrics, and going out to dinner but always snacking too much beforehand. And then filling up on bread.
